WASTE OF TIME!!!!! IF YOU WANT A REVENGE STORY, OR AN ACTUAL GOOD STORY, THIS IS NOT FOR YOU. Summary says revenge but no revenge actually happened. Female lead was just waiting for the right time to reveal her evidence to the emperor and beg him to pardon her family. There are no scenes regarding smart planning of revenge, or scenes that show female lead being badass. She was badass at the start but it only lasts a few episodes. Around Ep20 or so, she was just a lovesick, damsel-in-distress girl. Only the villains are being smart. All the leads were outsmarted by their enemies in the end. The supposed to be smartest character in this show, Luo Mingxi, was also outsmarted by the villains and made stupid decisions. The story is so DISAPPOINTING. I've never been this annoyed at a Dilraba drama before. The plot is all about the male and female lead pushing each other away but thinking about each other secretly and getting depressed. HOWEVER, if you like watching visually appealing dramas without caring about the plot, you will find this enjoyable. There are a lot of scenes where nothing is really happening and it's just the camera focusing on the characters or sceneries for like 20 seconds. That kind of drama is not for me, so I just fast forwarded always. In the 45 minutes runtime of each episode, there's only like 20 minutes of actual story or action happening. There will be like 2 minutes of actual action and story taking place, then suddenly the scene will switch to 10 minutes of characters mindlessly talking and being chill. Most are just talking that doesn't forward the story in any way.
