Mallika Neale

Only a few of the actors are watchable, namely Ma and all the children apart from Marriette, the pompous couple and the vicar. The Brigadier is quite sweet. All the others either can't act or overact. I especially dislike the portrayal of 'Charlie' as someone drippy, hopeless and devoid of personality and Mariette comes across as a tease and not very nice. The character of Pop is incidental and you wouldn't miss him.
