Being in isolation thanks to Covid 19, I discovered the Sanditon series online and happily binge-watched all three seasons several times. I had never previously heard of it here Downunder.
I will not repeat the comments your amateur reviewers have posted; instead
some questions.
* Season 1: at the end of episode 1 a dance had some intriguing music, with a woman singing and key instrumentalists in the centre of the dancers. It was totally unlike any others throughout the three seasons and had me riveted. What was it?
* Costumes: truly wonderful. But I always wonder why, in balls & dances in costume dramas, the women are gloriously robed, with bare shoulders etc while men wear three or four layers.
In conclusion the series certainly had faults but overall I thoroughly enjoyed it.
