I’ve been an Indy Superfan since I was a kid, from watching his movies every day after school, writing fan letters, dressing up as him, pretending to be him, etc. Indy is my childhood hero. When this movie was announced, all the way back in 2016, I was ecstatic. I was able to see my hero on the big screen one more time and it would be his final send-off! I've waited for this movie for such a long time, but I wish it never happened. I came home extremely disappointed in what they did with this movie. I don't exactly have words to express how disappointed I am, but I can tell you that I came home in tears because of how disappointed I was. There were some moments in the movie that I felt were like the old Indy movies, but there wasn't enough of that classic Indy feeling, unlike the other movies. Believe me, I understand Harrison is much older now and has a lot of “mileage”, but they still could have written this so much better. If you are a big Indy fan like me, proceed with caution. You will be extremely disappointed in what they did with this movie. Thank you Harrison for playing this character, I just wish you had a better send off.
