Antenna was my first encounter with Cave In. I'll never forget the way it felt to hear "Stained Silver" for the first time. The sound and production on this album is CRUSHING. The band that got criticized for making such a "mainstream" sounding record, what with all the memorable hooks, lack of screaming, and more standardized song structures. To me, this is a band that is fully capable of being the chaotic metal-core band that they were early on along with being fully capable of writing the best damn rock songs you ever heard.
This album was the gateway for me, and it has still remained an all-time favorite. Cave In is one of those bands that is worth digging into as deep as you possibly can.
