Mr. Charles Borromeo

Truly FANTASTIC! Now, THIS was a superhero movie! It has been quite a while when a really good and "grounded" Marvel movie has graced the silver screen. From the casting to the cinematography, the entire movie was nothing short of excellent. Yet, the greatest advantage this movie has from the previous (and failed) Marvel movies that came before it, was that, there was no obvious "woke" agenda that could have distorted the essence of the story's plot line. It was a film that honored the source material and was faithful in conveying timeless values of the power of friendship, the indissolubility of integrity, and the strength of family. A truly must watch!

Overall a good movie that hearkens back to the "Christopher Reeve Era" Superman films. Very upbeat and light hearted. However, the central driving conflict and premise of the story is (realistically) absurd and challenges tradional plot lines - particularly that of Kal-El's (aka. Superman) parentage. Notwithstanding, a good DC and family-friendly movie.
