I was raised on WCCR. I remember every episode in the lives of this family. It was unbelievable back then, and so sad now looking back. This movie embraces the hard knocks, and the tragedy. I was not sure how the movie would work out, but somehow they made it work well. It does get a little slow at times, however it holds your interest. For anyone that was fortunate enough to witness the paradox first hand in the 80's, I'm sure this film brought back some memories, and feelings that haven't been felt since it all went down. I highly recommend "The Iron Claw."

I wasted part of my life on this show. There was no point, ryme or reason or anything resembling a valid storyline. Seemed to be written and directed by a bunch of high-school kids. No wait.. middle-school kids. Was looking for something good to watch and wound up getting suckered.

Wife and I got hooked early in season 1. This show has that thing. Can't really put my finger on what that thing is though. It has a good cast and the writers thought out the plot pretty well. The supporting cast are as different from each other as possible, but it all clicks. Is it far fetched? Completely! But this show keeps you tuned in by its pure language and the downright obscurity, it's one of those shows that keep you tuning in. I highly recommend it.
