It is an interesting and quick read. Yet realize that there is no sophistication in the narrative. Rather a cruel and snobbish description on how she perceived her parents economic and personal sacrifices to educate her daughter. Disdain, shame? No pleasure on her side for them.. something quite common when parents are uneducated and their kids achieve higher educationlevels
