This is an album you want to blast with your sun roof open. The "driving" basslines, the intuitive and core-filling drums, the perfecttly smooth vocallines with the occasional Beatles-esque harmonies...you can listen to it on repeat for six months and not get tired of there's so much to listen for. For musicians out there the sophistication and musicianship is a breath of fresh air. I sense some Mike Oldfield Tubular Bells influence in the synth, which is interesting to hear in the 21st century. Whoever produced this album really understood what these guys are about. You don't need to know French to love this album, but i bet there's beauty to be admired in the lyrics given everything else this album has going for it.
