After binge-watching the original a year or two ago—while navigating a move to a new city where I knew no one and was struggling to figure out life—this show felt like a welcome companion to my early thirties. It’s incredibly addicting to see where these women were in their 30s in the original, and now how their lives have evolved in their late 50s and early 60s. I love the show and the storylines between the characters. Does it have its flaws? Sure. Some storylines feel a bit forced, but the overall charm, feel-good moments, and camp make it such a joy to watch. You know a show is great when it’s first billed as a limited series and, a few years later, has three seasons. May there be many more to come!
