At first, the whole thing took parts from MULTIPLE superhero and just action movies. It seemed very unoriginal, except for some moments throughout the film. But I can’t deny it was definitely funny. I loved the casting. The CGI was above decent. The script writers gave little effort to make this more for maturer audiences. Using lines like “I thought I’d never see you again.” And “You got this, Mijo” was very cringe. Not to mention the logic was very faulted. When the Alien AI suit said ‘we aren’t killers’, that was such a switch up. And the memories from the main antagonist, that cyborg guy, were in 3rd person, how would a person’s memory be in third person. The inappropriate joke at the end really made my blood boil. The scene where the main character, Jaime, asks Jenny if he can take her for a ride and she asks how, and then the Alien AI suit says how his heartbeat raced, was atrocious. Especially when the movie tried so hard to make it PG-13 by not showing any gore, or even proper combat for half of the movie, punching would’ve been fine. Just like Spider-Man, he punches with doing severe bodily harm. Overall this movie was cliché and below average for expectations of a superhero movie.
