Your questions to Jake Sullivan were predictable and weak. Imagine you are Iran and hold 10 American hostages. You just got $6 billion for 5 hostages. Russia just got Victor Bout, the ‘Merchant of Death’ for a basketball player. Do you really think Iran and Hamas will just let our hostages walk out for a handful of Palestinians and some food? As long as Biden is negotiating for the US side, the price will be extremely high and they will win. Ask that of Jake rather than softball questions.
