What the hell is everyone talking about who liked this film? I get that its a touching film and has a strong message about getting along with one another to survive. However that doesn't take away from the fact that early on they established the lore of this film and how the virus works. Then when the protagonist gets bitten they just threw all of that out the window. I swear 48 hours in this alt universe means a week where in most circumstances it means 2 days. The guy just seriously tanks everything and looks INCREDIBLE for a guy who has been infected for 72 hours. No one drank any water nor were they concerned about it. As far as i can see they should of all been dead by the first act. This is the Australian outback! Not some picturesque landscape in somewhere like Holland or New Zealand where the climate is a lot more manageable for people who have been in the BLAZING 35-40 degree celsius heat. This could have been executed so much better. It left me feeling like "what the hell is going on" A LOT! There were so many unreasonable and completely stupid moments that made me question if the protagonist was smart about survival or a complete idiot. Especially the way the movie conveyed how long the virus has been in effect. So you're telling me that months of survival has taught you nothing. Not a terrible film it's okay and that's about all i'll give it
