This just shows how far people will go to further their careers. When these things are ignored it just eats away at the faith in humanity to do the right thing without someone looking over your shoulder. No one likes being monitored but when issues are as important as this, there has to be some kind of check and balances. The justice system is clearly broken. Oh, and by the way the series is excellent. I am sure there are things added to it just to bring out to the audience the magnitude of their situations.
