Good family movie, nice music and story line

Good light happy going movie to watch over weekend

Its as good any other Vikings series, I have watched them all Initially its a bit slow as any series but is builds slowly and good. People are giving bad rating only for having female of colour as the independent queen of kattegat

Acting music direction all are exceptional But its a thumbs down for the story line It would have been one of the best show's on Hindi Netflix with the powerfull cast, amazing music and screen play But feels wasted with the ill planned story line How far can one go for the sake of love It shows insensitiveness of the main character who cares only about his love and nothing else, ready to risk his parents life,lovers life And the 2nd lead Purva did give him option he has been so rude and cunning with her all along And the main female lead ready to ruin her husband for love ***How far can one push being selfish in love***

This is the story of how Gandhi became the "Mahatma" ("Great Soul") --- a very realistic portrayal of the incidents that led to a determined effort for the betterment of people of non-European origin in South Africa. The make-up and acting of Rajit Kapoor as Gandhi is commendable. Pallavi Joshi plays her part, as Kasturba Gandhi, almost to perfection. The other actors and actresses in the movie are good, too. A very good cinematography and excellent back-ground score make the movie a superior one. Plus, of course, Shyam Benegal proves once more that he is one of the greatest directors in Indian cinema. It is a shame that his movies do not get the attention they should in the world film scenario.
