Hands-down one of my top five movies of all time, Gladiator excels in almost every aspect of filmmaking; acting, directing, screenplay, cinematography and a powerful soundtrack that moves you from beginning to end. From the action at the start to the somber, final moments of the last scene, you are transfixed and moved.

Squid Game makes you feel things that are very uncomfortable…watching desperate people doing desperate things…empathizing with their crushing disappointment in themselves and sadness that human life can be reduced to no value… Everyone sees a little of themselves in the characters and it’s brilliant!

Stellar casting, slick production and a solid story weave an enjoyable tapestry filled with humor, wit, melancholy and drama. Neil Patrick Harris is perfectly cast as the lead character and the supporting cast of friends and family elevate this very original production. Tisha Campbell is a standout as are his best friends Emerson Brooke and Brooks Ashmankas. Tune in. You won’t regret the investment of time and you’ll certainly look forward to season 2!
