I always look forward to the next Alex Cross novel and am sorry to say this one is very disappointing. It definitely does not seem like James Patterson did much of the writing. (In two chapters it states how John got in his Jeep Grand Cherokee at least five times. Seriously, after the first mention or two it should just say he got in his car.). This kind of writing is not indicative of Patterson’s writing. John Sampson’s character does not act like the John Sampson character we know from the Alex Cross novels. I don’t think I can finish the book.
