absolutely horrendous movie. sat through the whole 3 hours of the movie. at least 2 hours and a half was the characters singing terrible made music. story plot took way too long to explain with it being the classic “getting bullied by everyone and being the main character having to save the world”. theres also hints of wokeism which is absolutely disgusting. i had 0 knowledge about the world of wizard of oz and never seen a movie about it until this one. needles to say, i will never watch part 2 of this movie. i watched with the expectation of seeing magic similar to movies of harry potter. upsetting that there was little to no magic involved in this movie. all just terrible singing of terrible music. only good if you’re a fan of tasteless music and subpar acting and performance i guess.
