Reading other reviews, I don’t get why some people hated this movie. The point beyond the race issue was that Samuel L Jackson’s character had suspicions of his wife having an affair with her boss who happened to be white. He was living out his anger with his wife through the interracial couple next door. The character Chris became hyper sensitive to the issue of race because SLJ’s character put the issue front and center which then led to the marital struggles he and his wife began having . I thought it was an amazing movie with tense moments combined with thought provoking undertones.
