I have been reading Stepheh King books since the late 80's and up until now, I have never been disappointed. Even the Tommyknockers was good in its time. So when I saw that this new book had been published I eagerly purchased Holly, as I loved all the other books this character had featured in. Unfortunately, this book is predictable, and smacks of another book I read many years ago, possibly a Peter Straub. But I could be wrong. This is not up to Stephen Kigs high standards, there was no element of surprise no page gripping moments, where you cannot put the book down, regardless of it being 3am and you have work in the morning. I feel this book was more about the history of Covid than Holly and her team I am a very disappointed constant reader.
