It's probably been a long time since I've been so dissatisfied with something. Maybe it's the fault of my high expectations, but the only thing I can admit is that the marketing campaign of this movie is very good, it would be good if the story itself was like that. Complete nonsense. The first ten minutes are just "Hello Barbie" reruns. Super boring. It's like I'm waiting to jump into a fairy tale world and suddenly the Barbie isn't the Barbie I think it is. Becomes a person. WEIRD. Other than that, there is no story developing between Ken and Barbie and I can't tell who loves or likes or dislikes who. None of the storylines have an ending and are interrupted in the middle. The dialogue was another significant drawback. Full of cringe-worthy lines. Idk why movie director decided to show such a toxic mom-daughter relationship and decided to make it look normal when a lot of teen girls are watching it, instead of showing love and affection which would be like a worthy “example” to those kids that act as bad as the main character was acting with her mom. Overall, I do not recommend it to anyone. There were no funny jokes and no story to remember. Full disaster
