Pope Francis is naturally lovable. I admire his being down to earth and his simplicity which he brings to his papacy. In the film, i learn of his burden based on a controversy early in his life and how this kept him grounded despite his popularity. The film made me feel compassion for Pope Benedict. We are all victims or products of our history. In the end, the film reminded me that everyone has a story. It's up to us to listen or not. Both actors are brilliant! But I can't get over the fact that the person who effectively played Hannibal is the same person who plays Pope Benedict. Simply fantastic!
