I'm 81 years old and in a high risk category. However, I see no reason why the whole of Australia should be inconvenienced by so many restrictions. There were 900 deaths caused by influenza in 2019 and only 718 deaths caused by Covid-19 so far this year. Let us who are in the high risk categories go out wearing masks and allow the economy to be unshackled and allow the people to go back to work. It's time for The Drum to have the views of an '81-year-old man in the street' aired on your programme. Life is a risky business ... accidents, heart attacks and being mugged.
