My 6 year old and I were so excited for this movie, but the plot seemed to be mainly about getting your period and arguing with your mom; it felt geared toward pre-teen girls. I personally found some of the metaphors to be meaningful or at least humorous, but my son thought it was boring. Some of the language and content is inappropriate for younger kids.
