Half way through the first episode, I was sceptical. It felt like it was trying to tick every box. How wrong I was. Having watched the whole series I can say it was a true joy to watch. Beautifully written and highlights social injustice and its impact on everyday people. If you want comedy, this has it. If you want drama at its finest, this has it. If you want heartwarming and heartbreaking, this has it! Purely brilliant.
