No Spoilers: I’m so disappointed in the movie. The whole thing felt really rushed. I think what the show does really well is its dialogue between characters especially lady bug and cat noir which there wasn’t a lot of because it was a musical….a musical. Who thought that was a good idea? If they took the time and money they spent on the musical part they probably could have made a better film with more flushed out interactions and character development making the film feel less rushed. (FYI I love musicals but this wasn’t the time and place). Also I know with the movie you can’t expect all things to be like the show but there are some classic lines that would have been really great to hear like “ma lady”, “bugaboo”, miraculous lady bug” etc. Also it was so distracting that marinette’s speaking voice didn’t match her singing voice. Also Gabrielle Agreste’s character wasn’t right. The way he acted in the movie did not align with his character in the show at all making his actions less believable. The animation was stunning that’s why I gave two stars instead of 1.
