Loved the movie for so many reasons! The way they captured KI’s raw beauty-those beaches, the wildlife, the sweeping shots, had me leaning over to my daughter whispering, ‘We are so booking a family trip here.’ It just all looked so stunning and special ! But the film? It blew me away. Thought-provoking, funny, emotional, it tackled real-life themes we don’t often see on screen: family, faith, love, loss, fame, infidelity, small town life, and the complexities of being human. The performances by the actors were incredible, the laughs were loud, and the very long applause after - was very much deserving. If a movie can make you laugh, cry, and walk out already planning your next holiday… it’s a must-see! I think it’s a great movie to see before a dinner out as there are so many things to talk about after- real conversations on the realities of life. It was beautifully written, directed and the actors were brilliant! Do yourself a favour and watch Kangaroo Island.
