So we'll call this a PG movie. I think. Sexual stuff and nudity was brief. The story followed well enough with the book even though they were a couple of things out of sequence which had no effect on the story. My friend that watched it with me had never read the book and she also thought that it was an excellent movie. A good story of love, betrayal, murder and a lifelong friendship.

Above average war movie. Excellent views and war realism. A story about a young man carrying out his duty, against all odds and keeping his word to a friend. I find "Pacific" an HBO series much better in the gore and nastiness of war. We were Soldiers, better acting.

It is a good quality story, considering the actors that played and the story that was told. It is not historically accurate considering that fact slaves rode on a train. The underground road never included any type of train, but the men that ran it were called conductors. I've seen a couple of other movies that also included a train which was also historically inaccurate.
