The marketing team for this movie should be fired. This movie was so much more than what the trailers made it out to be. I was expecting to watch a basic animated kids movie with surface level characters and basic animation, but boy was I wrong. Transformers One was a phenomenal film with impressive voice acting that delivered both witty humor and serious conversation without ever feeling forced or out of place. The animation was beautiful and unique. The story was constantly engaging and fun with satisfying fight scenes and complex character interactions. Brian Tyree Henry shocked me with his excellent portrayal of Megatron, and the way his and Chris Hemsworth’s voices evolved as the film progressed was so cool. Go watch Transformers One this weekend!
