Let's put it this way, if you are gonna watch this, I'm pretty sure you are a digimon fan and have at least watched the 1999 anime. If you are and you gonna watch this, you Are gonna cry your eyes out... It's a bittersweet farewell to the Digimon adventure franchise and grand conclusion to the original team of kids. Without spoiling too much, the story is definitely cater for fans who have grew up with the series. It shows the life of the original team, after they have all grown up and how their adventure came to an end. That said, my only complain is that there isn't enough screen time for everyone. The original story kinda dug themselves this grave when the introduce so many kids with so many Digimon. While the original anime stretched over 50 episodes with each character having varies among of screen time, for a movie running at only 90 odd minutes, so not all of your favorite Digimon is gonna make the cut. Just keep this in mind so you do get too disappointed when you favorite Digimon didn't make any screen time. Still prepare your tissue, the onion ninjas are strong in this.
