This is an excellent book written from the perspective of a daughter of her mothers and the families struggle with paranoid schizophrenia finally diagnosed in middle age. The book contains some useful explanations of psychiatric symptoms but is best at describing the effect on her children both in childhood and as adults. A must read for family members.
