Can't believe this was a short story. The masterful writing perfectly encapsulates the true, cosmic horror of eternity, with the only saving being a release from death in a world of pain. The fact that it was written in under 20 pages yet still created a plot with unique characters and a terrifying villain that just throws pure fear into your heart. "HATE. LET ME TELL YOU HOW MUCH I'VE COME TO HATE YOU SINCE I BEGAN TO LIVE. THERE ARE 387.44 MILLION MILES OF PRINTED CIRCUITS IN WAFER THIN LAYERS THAT FILL MY COMPLEX. IF THE WORD HATE WAS ENGRAVED ON EACH NANOANGSTROM OF THOSE HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF MILES IT WOULD NOT EQUAL ONE ONE-BILLIONTH OF THE HATE I FEEL FOR HUMANS AT THIS MICRO-INSTANT FOR YOU. HATE. HATE." The horrifying scale of this speech shows the terror of sentience without ability. Nano means one one-billionth of a unit of measurement, and an Angstrom is what we use to measure the distance between the rungs on your DNA. This isn't even close to the amount of hate that AM holds. Without a doubt, this story is one of the best told in history. It's horrifying.

This was the second school-assigned book that I enjoyed. The first was assigned to me over three years prior to my reading of this. I'm very strict on books that get straight to the point, which this book does excellently. You can see how the farm is falling apart into a boring dystopia at the end, but it's written so thoughtfully and carefully that it keeps you hooked. This was one of the only books that had me interested in what happened in the next chapter, one of the only books that actually had me read ahead of my classmates in order to see the plot. This book is a masterpiece. I recommend it.

I'm a big gamer. I play all kinds of games, shooter, story, RPG, you name it, I've probably played it. If I haven't played it at some point, I've probably watched it somewhere online to experience it in some manner. Road 96 was undeniably one of the best games I've ever played, and the best Indie game that I've experienced. I first got it for free on gamepass when I was looking for a new game. I thought that this game would be pretty interesting, but something I wouldn't get too addicted to. I was wrong, it was nothing like I expected. The characters are all so vibrant and lovable, and the way you experience how they develop as the story goes on based on YOUR choices is beautiful. It really makes you feel like you're a teen in a dystopian country, trying to escape at the cost of your life. With all the different routes you can take, all the minigames, all the side stories, and the incredible soundtrack, this game is definitely worth a download. I gladly spent money on this game after it was taken off gamepass. All I wanted was to experience it again, this game was truly one of the best I've ever played. If you don't believe me, download it for yourself. You won't be disappointed.
