The film has a slow start for seemingly the first 3 quarters. There is nothing sinister occurring or implied until the last 1/4. Then the film converts to a 1970s-early 80’s grindhouse exploitation revenge film. I think Zoe Kravitz will improve with pacing as her director career progresses. If I could do over I would wait and watch this on streaming or dvd rental (if that still exists) instead of seeing it at the movies with the associated cost.
