Imagine your average Liam Neeson movie.. now if you add an hour of pure exposition and remove any suspense you get this.

Since this film had a relatively high rating, I decided to give it a watch. Unfortunately, for me, it was a huge let down. My biggest problem with 17 Again is the plot - it just feels like somebody wrote an unoriginal rough draft based on whatever idea popped into their head first. I have never in my entire life seen a movie this predictable. Surprisingly enough, it wasn't funny either. Although, some moments were simply so stupid and cringeworthy that I had a few chuckles here and there but that was about it. On a positive note, it wasn't a colossal failure. While cinematography, acting, sound and set design was nothing special, it was decent and that made it look like a real film. Probably not worth your time 2/5
