The best book for first year physics students. It presents concepts and calculations in the simplest possible manner. No hard calculus required. I was trawling the Internet for the authors’ details as I wanted to thank them for writing such an excellent book, but found that Dr Bobbie Vaille passed away in 1996. Dr Chris Turville is still around though. Buy this book, you wont regret it. there are a few mistakes in the Solutions, but you should be able to figure them out if you follow the worked examples carefully.
