Not many series get a chance to re-do and also properly conclude and resolve themselves. Very few have and have done it well. This finale to the Evangelion series provided the catharsis and end the series deserved and saw the story come full circle for the titular characters. Will be rewatching as it was hard to appreciate in the moment each and every detail and it’s connection to the past source material. Thank you Hideaki Anno and the Evangelion team for bringing us on this decades long ride from child to adulthood. While this was supposed to be the end, it will always stay near and dear for its impact.
