Am i the only one who's going to be honest and give a review of MCU and be a little objective...?
***Spoiler Alert***
This film did not fit into the MCU but it certainly wrapped up a few loose ends, poorly.
I feel the russo brothers had a storyboard script and kept it like that. Fluidity of the characters was poor. Who, where, when and how wernt as important as what they did.
For instance no mention at any previously time you can enter at a different time in the quantum realm. Time flows forwards but at a different rate.
Where did loki go with the tesseract?
What, is black widow now running Trump's space force?
What did the avengers tell Captain Marvel?
How did she find Tony Stark as space is infinate?
To be honest they focused about the stones rather than the space time continum. Not much of an explanation about the grandfather paradox but it was the last part of Infinity War and Endgame tbh. Dr Strange knows that explaining the events will cause them not to happen!
Both theories in the same film. Erm wrong!
It feels like it was set up to kill off thanos, captain america and iron man and black widow.
Thor in Infinity war showed how complex he was in rockets pod, showed how a adult would react in that situation. In Endgame he's playing fornite! They turned him into a alcoholic teenager hobbo which went on all through the film. Doesn't make sense.
Nebula's plan was purposely hidden from us but im sure everyone guessed what would happen so no shock there!
The scene with Alexander Pierce, Thor ans Tony Stark have a squabble was pathetic. In that situation Thor needed to step in and command the situation and Pierce needed to be a little bit less im the guy give me the power cube. It was obvious that he couldn't play it cool and he was hiding something which should have made Stark suspicious especially when Stark was suspicious of Shield earlier in the film Avengers Assemble in Banners lad on the helicarrier.
The final battle scene was also cringe worthy. Like to kids in a playground. My dad's 5ft tall. Well my dad's 6ft tall. Well my dad's 100ft tall. Bigger battle than last film which is fair enough but needed more to lead us there.
As for the battle it felt like lets get everyone in the picture even if 11 years have shown that this wouldn't happen.
Pepper potts at the end calm as you like telling peter its ok... when has she reacted like that in any film? She's forever telling him off and cries when he gets taken by ships and portals!
Captain Marvel has great power and is a strong character. Perfect to end a titan like Thanos but she was used as a bulldozer! Don't see the point of the MCU building such a strong character at this point just to throw her at space ships. Even Thanos telling his ship to fire at the earth was to introduce her and was so predictable.
These are just a few of the mish mashes of film.
Wasn't a bad film just badly executed.
ENDGAME 6/10
INFINITY WAR 9.5/10
