Many reviewers here will say that people complaining aren't good enough and that's true, most people aren't good enough and won't be good enough including me. Mainly because we have jobs and lives outside of gaming and this game isn't built for you, it's built for streamers. My problem isn't that the game is difficult, my problem is that game is designed to market itself in a way that's misleading
This (forever beta) game makes for some really entertaining videos and streams from someone like Pestily or Kotton. They draw you in and you think wow this game looks so cool, I want to play this game. The problem is you won't have their skills, and you won't have their time. It will become the game you really want to play but the game doesn't want you to play it.
This is what BSG do though, they hype the game up through streamers with slick content, events with drops, occasional free gear, regular sales and you'll be hooked. You grab a standard account and play for a bit, it's difficult and you suck, maybe if you just upgrade to the EOD? (pay to win edition) but still even with that it's a grind and there's just no way you can compete and by then it's too late, BSG has your money and they don't care. That was their plan all along, why do you think this game isn't Steam? why do you think they constantly pander to the streamers?
I haven't even mentioned stuff like hackers, desync, game breaking bug, exploits, RMT. My advice, stay away, I know it's really tempting because the game does look so much fun, but it likely won't be for you, stick to watching and enjoying it on twitch and YT. They are inevitably going to give up on EFT at some point when they've made enough money and start work on the game they really wanted to make in the first place but were too broke, a single player game called Russia 2028.
