This book called " I was there... BOUDICA'S ARMY" is a fantastic book. It's a great book to introduce young readers to stories about the past. It is written by Hilary Mckay and it is about a young Iceni girl called Kassy whose beloved pony (Honey) was taken into war against the Roman, it takes place in AD 60. I personally recommend this book to those who like to learn about history and for those who have a very good imaginative mind. However, in my personal opinion, I think they need to put in work for the cover. It's not eye-catching and it is quite similar to Hilary Mckay's other books.
