When I started watching Blue Bloods it was just to have another series to watch. I had never seen any of the episodes until I figured why not try it. I like cop shows mystery all that and I enjoyed the couple episodes I watched so I found the series. I am going into season 3 now but not sure I will continue. I still like the story lines but I don't like that the Lily white cast of Reagan's basically save the day and the world weekly. The only time you really have a person of color on the show is when they're about to be killed off or a gang banger or drug dealer. And it's amazing how a commissioner district attorney detective and police officer somehow go to church every Sunday and have their Sunday dinner with their entire family. That is not realistic. You have the know-it-all niece that gets involved in things you wouldn't normally involve a teenager in. Apparently the Reagans are like Gods to New York and everyone bows down to them. They are the best and brightest of every department and do what they want and everyone's okay with that. I know this is just a TV show but at least pretend to be a little more authentic. I know there are families out there that only date and marry into their own race but you would think the show would be a little more ethnic,I mean this is New York. Also if I continue to watch I hope Danny grows up a little and stops acting like he is in charge of the entire police squad and stops with his little tantrums. Too bad they fired Jennifer Esposito. I guess she wasn't up to the "Reagan's " standards.
