Harrison Spiteri

This movie was absolutely fantastic and it exceeded all my expectations. Before I went in, I thought it was going to be good going in, but I didn't expect it would be this good. Almost everything works well in the film. For starters, the animation is incredible, some of the best I have seen in a long time, it really makes you feel like you are watching a comic book come to life. It is also full of a lot of color which is nice a contrast to all the superhero movies which are just a lot of different shades of grey and brown so they can look dark and gritty, which just results in bland looking environments. The films soundtrack is also very good and matches the scenes well. The characters were also very likable and I felt attached to their goals and pursuits from beginning to end which isn't very common in a lot of movies these days. The film also had a sense of humor that didn't at all feel forced or desperate and they knew when humor was appropriate for the given scene. So overall, this film was a great time that I am very glad I saw. If you are a Spider man fan, If you like good animation, If you enjoy a good genre reconstruction, If you like comic books or if you just want a good time at the movies, then I couldn't recommend seeing this film enough.
