I think there are too many unhappy situations-leaving one feel very depressed. (I know that’s the nature of Soaps) There is way too much attention on “the evildoers”. How long do we have to wait till Thomas is exposed for his evil intentions? I think there is not enough balance between good and evil. Just when everyone found that Hope and Liam got their baby back, their world fell apart again. When the impeachment interrupted the programming for a couple weeks, I felt relieved I didn’t have to be “brought down” emotionally in the middle of the day. I still watch hoping that someday some of these situations will be resolved, but know that to keep people “hooked” the writers feel they have to create cheating, infidelity, back-stabbing et al. We could strive for some more wholesome “feel good” soaps.
