This show is amazing!!!! Obviously, it needs a little time to develop it's base, just like any show, but it's only been a week and I'm already starting to get a much clearer picture of everyone. I'm new to soaps, but this show is so easy to watch because it is so interesting and you never know what's going to happen. The acting (especially from Karla Mosley) the sets, the costuming, the hair, the writing, the music, everything is amazing and done with such care. And even though it isn't important to the plot, the fact that I'm seeing black people as the center is so important and powerful, especially since that isn't something we see alot, especially in soapsl, where the black people (especially women) are often just used as accessories and are put into the background while their stories are given to their white counterparts. Even if you aren't into soaps, I definitely recommend giving this series a chance just from the excellence in front and behind the camera alone.
