This beautiful movie is the most divine and most phenomenal piece of cinima I have ever had the pleasure of witnessing. To date this is my favorite movie for a tremendous display of reasons. To start off the characters are in no way obnoxious and I find them to be incredibly lovable. The dynamic between Surly and Buddy are very entertaining! I love the way their loyalty is strong and how they stick together even through thick and thin. The title of the movie is an amazing play on words and introduces the light of the film wonderfully. Even the ending is spectacular. The pacing throughout the movie is nice and slow but not to slow and doesn’t feel rushed at all. Everything about the movie to the way it’s shaded and animated beautifully to the way the characters interact with each other so casually. This film will stay in my mind years to come and forever hold a place in my heart. It’s message truly my spoke to me like no other film has. It really makes me weep to know that I had the grace witness the artwork and imagery of the movie. I will never be the same again when I placed my eyes on this lovely animatic back in 2016. Thank you Nut Job for knowing what great artistry and plot making is.
