A very good film to watch this independence day with your family, reminding us of the bravery and patriotism of our armed forces as well as villagers who helped to build air base during Indo- Pak war 1971 risking their lives tirelessly.
Many of critics I read, especially in newspapers like Hindustan times, The Hindu and quint are very negative terming film as "hyper nationalism" and directing hate towards Pakistan or a particular sect. But it is totally untrue. In fact our best spies who were located in Pakistan, laid their lives for our country belongs to that particular sect who believes how Pakistan is itself an enemy of Islam shown in dialogues such as โ Pakistan hi islam ka sabse bada dushman hai jisne 30 Lakh Bengali muslims ki hatya kiโ. India has never been an expansionist country which is shown through brief history of east Pakistan crises and help of India on humanitarian grounds.
Excellent VFX and War scenes such as airal combact and war of longivala post were 120 indian tigers fought 100 tanks and 1200 troops of enemy reminding us of block buster movie โBorderโ giving goosebumps till every nerve of body.
Film also takes creative liberties which is must for a Bollywood film to reach the Indian sentimental audience, of course it is not a documentary.
Overall, a very good film to watch this Independence Day, reminding
bravery, valour of our defense forces realizing us the importance of or freedom and sacrifices of many known, unknown people for our nation.
Jai Hind!!
