The original cast back together but old. Oldies running around, with extensions. It’s ok if you’ve got a game going on yr tablet to turn to. The end is just schmaltz unbridled where all the killer dinos cuddle.

A great film that is multi-layered in dealing with the ugly time of clause 28 with sensitivity and guts. Beautifully acted and understated.

Despite its harrowing storyline Monster is incredibly tender with beautiful performances from the two leading actresses; Theron and Ricci. Wonderfully realised film.

One subtitle read ‘breathing laboriously’ sums up this pointless waste of time.

Quite beautiful and arresting viewing although the treatment of characters is a little outdated: all the young women are victims of circumstance, all unhappy at the hands of men who mostly grunt a lot. The subtleties of photography and direction however make this an easy watch.
