It’s awful. Go read the books if you enjoy Anne Rice. This series is not only unworthy of watching, it is one that should be actively avoided. The tv series is completely unrecognizable compared to the books and entirely one dimensional. And that one dimension is very boring, poorly scripted, and an insult to women.

This story will forever be dear to my heart. I was gutted when it was over and I highly encourage all to put in the time as it is many many episodes, but well worth it.
