For me the movie suffered from a lack of character building. I didn’t feel for the kid like I should have, and it was hard for me to believe that Frank did too. Things seemed too rushed and I blame that on the unnecessary subplot that wasted precious time. The acting went from good to cheesy and back again throughout. I’ll blame the director for that. As for the cinematography, it was great! But perhaps I’m a little biased because I live in Arizona and the movie was filmed in nearby Prescott. Overall, not a bad movie to watch on Netflix.
