Truly remarkable show. Truly. I have never seen a show that gives you so much representation, and real-life struggles in such an organic way. This is the most realistic show out there right now. This is something I will show to my future kids because it teaches empathy and an understanding that there are stories/perspectives beyond our own eyes and ears. This is Us is so good at giving not an excuse but a reason behind everyone's actions. This show dives into the depth of every character. We really get to know these characters and why they are the way they are. Everything makes sense, the cause and effects are monumental. We are shown that nobody is perfect and in the same instance, we are shown why that is okay and how we can grow. No episode feels like a waste, it just connects dots. It feels like the entirety of this story was drawn up beforehand, not improvised as they go. This is a criminally underrated show. The writing, the acting, the production, is immaculate. 5/5 recommend.
