Nino Open

I was reluctant at the beginning as I didn’t know where it was going. I thought it was a bit cultish having been brought up Catholic myself with the prayers & hymns until they showed the Priest encounter with The Thing in an Israeli cave. I thought the reference to the Guardian Angel was sacriligeous (praying it daily even now, the last uncut cord from my religion ) until it evolved into mass hysteria, blind faith & irreverence. Mystifying, revolting, captivating. The end blew me away! Redemption laid in the hands of the youngest of the population, how simple yet how Prophetic! The way the Gospel was spread haunted me . I swear I was afraid it would come back in my dream last night!

The first episode was kinda confusing;even the second one which I thought was a completely different show until it’s end tie up with the first. The editing was complicated but if it meant to draw you more & lay out all the characters in different light , then it served its purpose. The production was A+, the cast was outstanding & the twists & turns seemed unstoppable until the very end when you think you can breathe a sigh of relief, it gets you the last time on the edge of your seat. It’s one hell of a darn good series, worth your time & energy!
